Who You Talk To

There are two sides to this. First, Fansector Roofing takes your request and asks about your roof. Second, you speak with an independent roofing provider from our network. The provider is a separate local business. They do the inspection and the work, not Fansector Roofing.

We do not list staff names on this site, because the people who matter most to your roof are the providers who come out and look at it.

What Happens on the First Conversation

Expect a few plain questions. Where is the problem? How old is the roof? Has it been patched or covered over before? Have you noticed stains on a ceiling, damp in the attic or shingles in the yard?

The answers help us choose a provider who fits. Then the provider contacts you to set up a visit. Request a callback to check provider availability, since timing depends on the provider and the season.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

A good provider will not mind questions. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured for work in this state?
  • Will you look at the attic and decking, not just the shingles?
  • How will you handle layers or repairs from past years?
  • What could surprise us once the old material comes off?
  • Can I have the quote in writing, with materials listed?
  • How is the work scheduled, and who is on site?

Older houses can hide soft decking, old flashing or earlier shortcuts. Ask how the provider plans to deal with surprises, and how changes to the price would be discussed.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can get a written quote, compare it with another, and take your time. No obligation is part of the deal. If a provider cannot answer a question clearly, that tells you something too.

If storm damage is involved, some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Many providers can help document the damage for a claim, but your insurer makes the call.
